Pacific Property Trust (PPT) through the Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) has started renovation on the Pacific MMI
New tiling to give Pacific Place front a refreshed look
The major upgrade program which was initiated in 2015 is not only an effort to restore the status and operating condition of the buildings, but also a strategic undertaking in order to compete with new additions to the commercial building market.
Once renovations are complete, it is envisioned the buildings will be recognised as the preferred commercial office space, the safest, most secure and fully functional in Downtown, Port Moresby.
The upgrade program include interior and exterior refurbishment, complete replacement of air condition systems, modernisation of the lift systems, energy and lighting upgrade, security system upgrade and fire safety system upgrade.

At Pacific Place, we are converting the podium level above the carpark into a restaurant and bar complete with outside seating areas, private meeting rooms, and a sizable conference centre, thus providing a one stop shop for tenants to conduct business without stepping out of the building.
Costs are being managed. Progress is on target for a December 2017 completion.
