KUTUBU CITF PROJECTS
PRK CITF Funds Key Primary Education Infrastructure MRDC through the PRK Board has undertaken a number of primary, community and high schools’ double classrooms and staff houses constructions in the Kutubu and Kikori areas of Southern Highlands and Gulf Provinces. Implementation of Community Infrastructure Trust Funds (CITF) projects are guided by guideline as set in accordance with the Oil and Gas Act, No 49 of 1998. The guideline as formulated by the Department of Client Services defines the process of implementing the CITF projects. Under the Act, 30%, of the dividends from royalties and equities from the oil, gas and mining projects and investments are put into the CITF Trust accounts. The Managing Director is the trustee of all funds under the trust including CITF.
Gesege Primary School – December 2019
4 in 1 classroom and 1 x teachers house
Aiio Primary School – November 2018
The school has been constructed under the CITF Program. The school takes children from as far as Mano, Tamatiki and villages in the Yesuku Region.

Kaipu Elementary School
Maintenance work after damages to the Building caused by the February 2018 Earthquake.
Kei Point Elementary School – December 2018
1 x double classroom and teacher’s house.
Soro Moro Church Building – August 2017
Extension of the church building.
Moro BSP Bank Maintenance – 2008
Maintenance work has been carried out at the BSP Bank facility in Moro. The bank was built in 2008 under a CITF project. It currently facilitates the royalties and equity payments for the PDL2 and PL2 landowners.
Kaintabo School Relocation
This project will see the current Kaintabo Community School in Pimaga village, SHIP, relocated to a new site along the Pipeline Access Road. The new site is currently being cleared.
Waro High School
