Mr. Owen Makindi

General Manager Corporate Services

Mr. Owen Makindi joined MRDC in July 2018 as the General Manager Corporate Services.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing and Banking & Financial services, of which 15 years were in management levels.
His career started with SP Brewery as a shift brewer and transitioned into Human Resources before joining ANZ Bank and eventually MRDC. His career highlights with ANZ include facilitating leadership & coaching programs, managing 10 ANZ Bank Branches outside of NCD and the Review of the Union Collective Agreement.
Mr. Makindi has an MBA with the Torrens University of Adelaide, Australia.
